We are excited to announce that USpace—the University’s space management system overseen by the Office of Space Planning & Analysis (SP&A)—has been upgraded to a new cloud-based version, USpace Survey, which will provide our University space planning teams with a more robust platform and toolset. This new system will be used to support the University’s indirect cost rate negotiations, as well as research space planning for the medical school; thus, this rollout is designed to focus first and foremost on the validation and collection of information for research intensive units.
The SP&A team will connect with managers within your departments, starting with research-specific units, then expanding to all academic and clinical units, over the coming weeks to provide them with access to and training for the new USpace Survey system.
